Project Cherokee Notes

New Tires: Some new work has progressed with Project Cherokee. Back in March of 2006, Project Cherokee got a new set of shoes. I got a good deal on a set of Rubicon rims with one new tire (the spare) and a used tire that had about 50% of its tread left. So I bought three new Goodyear MTRs to complete the set. With this, I now have a full set of 245/75R16s on the XJ.

On-Board Air: The next project that is going into Project Cherokee is on-board air. I already have the Viair 450 air compressor mounted under the hood. I also have a 2.5 gallon air tank, but I haven't fully figured out where I am going to mount that.

Roof Rack: The roof rack has been removed for about a year now. The rust has taken its toll on it. I plan on getting it cleaned up, putting some sort of bed liner type spray on it, and then remounting it. Stay tuned for this portion of the project.
